Graduation of first batch of film and photography students

MAJaC on Friday 22nd July 2022 graduated the first batch of Film and Photography in The Gambia.

The intensive nine-month programme is funded by the International Trade Centre- ICT through the Youth Employment Project-YEP. 


The project that equipped 16 young Gambians is aimed at enhancing job opportunities for the youth in film and photography.


Speaking at the graduation held at the National Accreditation for Quality Assurance Authority, Sang Mendy the MD of MAJaC, the GPU President Muhammed S. Bah, and the YEP representative Ngoneh Panneh, all expressed delight for the successful implementation of the project while urging the participants to make good use of the knowledge and skills learnt.


Susan Njie, a beneficiary of the project thanked the donors and their implementing partner MAJaC for giving them the opportunity to be better.


She however, on behalf of her colleagues sought both material and financial support to enable them to be self reliant and create job opportunities for others.
