Dear esteemed students of the Media Academy for Journalism and Communication (MAJaC), I am Adama Sanneh, an Advanced Diploma 8 student.

It is with profound honor and gratitude that, I declare my intention to run for Student Union president.

As Student President, I will aim to ensure that all students' voices are heard. My motivation is simple; I believe in this institution and through the collective work of the student union, staff, and students, we can continue with the great progress that this institution is making.

I want to be remembered as a student president who pursued the wishes of the students and accomplished many great things. I will be willing to do anything within my power to achieve this as the students are my main concern.

As the highest office of the union, it takes one to be fit and ready to serve the welfare of the students with dedication and diligence.

My final aim is to increase communication between the Students’ Union and the students to try and provide everyone with regular updates on what the Student’s Union is doing to improve the experience of all students.

My experience in leadership and my willingness to serve humanity make me fit for this position.

I served as the head boy of Mingdaw Upper and Senior Secondary School, and the President of Student Microscope of Mingdaw respectively in 2021.

Additionally, I have volunteered for the Salimatou Foundation for Education, and currently the Communications officer of the foundation.

I have worked as an intern reporter for The Fatu Network for Three months.

I believe with these and my experience in the service to the people, I have stood out to be the right candidate for President.

Students of The Media Academy for Journalism and Communication, you know your challenges, I know your challenges and I believe with my brilliant policies; coupled with the incredible team of the incoming 3rd executive Council of MAJaC Students' Union we will build a solid foundation that will serve the needs and aspiration of the students.
